Julep Freedom Top Coat- This is one of my top favorite new beauty products of 2013. It is a thick gel like top coat you put on your manicure. Then – you hold your nails under a 60 watt light bulb for 3-5 minutes while the top coat “cures.” When finished you have a glossy gel like top coat that removes easily with nail polish remover. Perfect if you dont want to make the gel commitment or ruin your nails from gel removal.Body Benefits Bath & Shower Cloth – A nylon wash cloth that has saved me from embarrassing skin issues. I’ve suffered from KP my whole life and recently had a esthetician give me a nylon cloth to scrub and exfoliate my skin with. My cloth is much harsher than the one featured here (resulting in the most painful showers of my life) but this one should do the trick for normal skin types. I kid you not when I say I had astonishing results after 1 use. My skin has never been smoother.
Nars Velvet Matt Lip Pencil- These lip pencils offer loads of high pigment color and they stay put all day long. My favorite is Red Square which is the perfect Orange Red!
Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil- You can get this stuff at any grocery store just about, as long as you make sure to get one that is organic or pressed and has never been heated so that you get all the nutrients possible. Coconut Oil has been my new MIRACLE beauty product. I did a lot of research to find out how to get rid of all the little bumps on my legs and arms (what I now know as Keratosis Pilaris, KP) and found in a blog thread that someone was swearing by this oil. I figured for $5 it was worth a try. In the shower I use my nylon cloth, above, and after my shower when my skin is slightly damp I slather this stuff all over and let it soak in over the next hour without rinsing it off. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because they would blow your mind. My KP is gone and I’ve only been using this cloth & oil combo for 2 weeks. 40% of the population has KP but has no idea what it is so if you have little bumps on your thighs or arms give this a shot. My skin looks amazing and moisturized now. I have never ever had skin this soft or plump in my life.
Josie Maran Argan Oil- I’ve been using this product on my face for the past 5 months. After washing or using a makeup remover cloth I just add a few drops to my face and rub it in. It soaks in after 5-10 minutes and leaves my face glowing. It has seriously helped to keep wrinkles at bay.
Cortex 4-in-1 Curling Iron Wand- This curling iron is awesome for giving you beach waves, which I rock just about every day. It comes with 4 different sized barrels so you can achieve all sorts of looks. It might seem pricey at $199 but you are getting 4 curling irons for that price. It also comes with a handy little glove so you don’t burn your hands getting used to a clipless curling iron. I would recommend wearing sleeves too until you’re used it. Can you tell I’ve burned myself a time or two?
Philips Sonicare Airfloss- I’m so thankful for this little gadget you have no idea. I used to seriously struggle with flossing and getting in all the hard to reach places and trying to figure out how to fit 2 hands in my mouth. Now, I fill my handy little flosser up with water and place in between each tooth. You press a button and it shoots a blast of air and water in the cracks of your teeth blasting out all the little food particles and plaque. Doing every tooth takes under 2 minutes and you can buy multiple heads so your whole family can use it. I’ve been using my Airfloss for a month now and my teeth have never felt so clean.
Arcona Triad Pads- This is not the first time I’ve blogged about these amazing little spa in a jar wonders. These pads are perfect after you’ve washed your face. They act as a toner and remove all the impurities from your pores and they leave your skin refreshed and smelling amazing.
